AstraZeneca was fraught with negative press in Francophone Africa stemming from a pre-existing vaccine issue in France.

As the long-standing PR partner for AstraZeneca, we engaged media stakeholders at a Pan-African level to create a space for AstraZeneca’s spokesperson, Barbara Nel, to deliver the message of trust in science, in the institutions, in the existing partnerships and in the global collaboration to fight a global pandemic.

We successfully changed the perception of AstraZeneca and promoted its commitment to driving equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.
